Monday Morning News Briefs from Eretz Yisrael


An Israeli motorist was attacked by Arabs hurling rocks near Bet Lechem on Sunday evening. No injuries were reported. At least one attacker was apprehended and taken into custody. Baruch Hashem, there were no injuries. Damage was reported.

**IDF soldiers involved in counter-terror operations throughout Yehuda and Shomron on Sunday night arrested 11 suspects.

**Two fragmentation grenades thrown in a Carmiel used car lot. 15 vehicles damaged. Police are investigating.

**Gunfire directed at a vehicle in the Halisa area of Haifa. Police are investigating.

**PM Netanyahu will on Monday evening make his first appearance before the Knesset Foreign Affairs & Defense Committee since elected.

**Minister on Sunday rejected the Allegiance Law, which was intended to revoke citizenship from those unwilling to declare their allegiance to the state, serve in the IDF or national service. Those unwilling to do so would be compelled to forfeit their citizenship. This is not the so-called Nakba Law.

**Residents of Gilad Farm this week marked another yahrzeit of security officer Gilad Zar HY”D, who was murdered by terrorists. Zar’s father Moshe spoke at the event amid rumors the government plans to remove the unauthorized outpost sometime this week, possibly on Monday.

**Making major news in Israel: TV host and entertainer Dudu Topaz was arrested on suspicion of involvement in numerous attacks against television personalities over recent months. The prosecutor is asking he be held without bail.
