A second member of the IDF’s Kfir Brigade has refused to serve unless complaints regarding alleged IDF violence against Arabs are investigated.
Another soldier from the brigade last week was sentenced to 30 days in military prison for his refusal to take part in a mission under the same grounds, alleging the military is turning a blind eye to unjustifiable violence towards Arabs residents in PA (Palestinian Authority) autonomous areas. The incident in question refers to a platoon in Kfir of Charuv operating in Kifl Haris near Ariel on March 26th.
The IDF spokesman released a statement that the soldier was found guilty of being absent from his unit and therefore was sentenced to jail. He also informed his commander that he no longer wished to take part in combat operations and was therefore transferred to kitchen and other non-field duties.

Let him drive his jeep to Jenin. If he comes out alive, he’ll rethink his position.
Totally disagree with #1. The way the IDF treats the Arabs on a day to day basis is not a source of pride. (I do not include in this comment the actions in war, when the IDF does shine).
