The daily Yisrael HaYom on Wednesday quotes Rav Yosef Rosenfeld, who heads the Vaad Lmaan Shabbos as saying that since Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat is acting like a block, and he is not willing to reach an understanding, we are left with no other alternative but to continue protests against chilul shabbos.

to #2 I definitely agree that your mehalech is the right one the only problem is the Vaad for Shabbos will start up with you so I don’t know if it will promote your agenda.
