An Eilat hotel on Sunday has barred a group of teens and young adults unless they are accompanied by parents – explaining experience has shown such groups engage in excessive alcohol consumption which results in violence and damage.

**17 people arrested in Shabbos protest against Karta parking lot are being remanded in a Jerusalem court on Sunday afternoon. The prosecution is requesting that they all be held without bail pending the conclusion of the legal process against them.

**Residents of an apartment building on Stomper Street in Netanya were evacuated on Sunday morning and the street closed after a gas leak was discovered.

**A motorist was killed in a collision between a private vehicle and a truck on the Trans-Israel Highway near Kiryat Gat on Sunday morning.

**A motorcycle driver in his 30s was seriously injured on Sunday morning in a MVA near Kfar Yavitz in the Sharon region. He was transported to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba.

**A pedestrian was hit by a bus on Jabotinsky Street in Petach Tikvah on Sunday morning. The victim was transported to Beilinson Hospital in moderate-to-serious condition.

**Public Security Minister Aharonovitch stated that while police are out in force on opening day of the nation’s public schools, the department lacks manpower to place a policeman at every corner.
