Beit Shemesh Fish Thieves Nabbed Red-Handed

Seven members of what appears to be a nationwide network were apprehended red-handed in Beit Shemesh on Tuesday as they were in the process of making off with 25 tons of fish, from a storehouse. The arrests were the result of an undercover operation in the area involving Negev district police.

Police report the burglary network is believed responsible for the theft of NIS millions from factories, goods that are then sold in PA (Palestinian Authority) autonomous areas.
