PA: No Point in Resumption of Talks

abbas.jpgPA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) told Lebanon’s al-Hayat newspaper on Thursday that the PA cannot return to the negotiating table with Israel due to “fundamental differences” between Israel and the PA.

While the PA is trying desperately to avoid a confrontation with the White House, Abu Mazen stated there is no common ground to resume talks with Israel, signaling no progress is to be expected even if talks resume as US President Barak Obama indicated they will.

Abbas met with the American president and took part in a trilateral meeting including Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, all traveling to New York City to take part in the UN General Assembly.

  1. As usual, Abbas is just posturing. This inept and ineffectual stooge of a leader probably won’t hold on to his perch for much longer. All the local polls show West Bank Arabs don’t think much of him. The PA is corrupt and Bibi knows that there is no point in propping him up. So…big deal that he doesn’t want to talk.

  2. You are absolutely right Mr. Abbas. There is absolutely no point in talking to the likes of you. It is a total waste of time. So, the next time one of your ilk decides to blow themselves up, is it possible it could be done somewhere like let’s say in the middle of the Sahara or the Arabian Peninsula?

  3. No “peace” talks means our continued control of all Yerushalayim, continued growth of our families and communities in Yehudah and Shomron,
etc. NOT BAD! KEEP IT UP ABBAS!
