8:10PM IL: (UPDATES BELOW) A shooting attack occurred in Shomron, near the community of Shvut Rachel, a short time ago. It appears the gunfire came from a passing vehicle but this is yet unconfirmed.
Preliminary reports indicate one person was injured by gunfire, in moderate-to-serious condition.
UPDATE 8:14PM IL: It appears one of two victims of the shooting attack is in moderate or serious condition. Unconfirmed but reliable reports indicate a military chopper is en route for transport. The attack occurred between Shvut Rachel and Achaya, on the northern border of the Benjamin Regional Council area of Shomron. The area has been closed down and the army is seeking to track down the terrorists.
UPDATE 8:21PM IL: The victim’s vehicle was standing near the entrance of the community of Shvut Rachel. It appears one victim was hit in the hand and abdomen. A second victim appears to have sustained shrapnel injuries. The more seriously injured victim is being transported to the trauma unit of Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.
UPDATE 8:30PM IL: The first report of the shooting attack was received at about 7:50pm. The attack took place north of the Benjamin Regional Council, in the southern most portion of the Shomron Regional Council.
Efforts to locate the terrorists continue. The victim shot in his hand and abdomen is reported in serious condition by pre-hospital medical officials. It appears the transport is being conducted by an IDF medical team. It remains unclear if the transport is via ambulance or chopper.
UPDATE 9:09PM IL: Shooting attack victim appears in moderate condition in the trauma unit of Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.

Of course they want peace. And somehow this shooting is Israel’s fault. I just haven’t figured out how yet. But I’m sure the mainstream media will.

Back in January it was my kids who were shot at going from Shevut Rachel where they live to a meeting in Kochav HaShachar. My son-in-law is basically blind as a result. Yes, “halfagirl” you’re right. It will all be our fault.
