Tonight, Sunday, motzei 10 Teves, the Eida Chareidis will be holding a major protest against the Jerusalem branch of the high-tech firm Intel, objecting to the company’s operating the facility in the capital on shabbos.
To date, a number of stormy shabbos protests were held outside the Har Chotzvim High-Tech Park facility, but this time, the rabbonim have opted to stage a protest during the week, promising a large attendance since many rabbonim are supporting the move, including the Vaad L’maan Shabbos. HaGaon HaRav Yitzchak Tuvia Weiss Shlita, the Gavaad of the Eida and other senior Eida rabbonim have indicated they will attend as well.
The event will be held on the Ramot Road opposite Intel, beginning at 7:30pm. Organizers indicated the event will take place with or without police approval. Police commanders announced they will be on hand and prepared for any eventuality.

why the protest. what is wrong with Intel employing gentiles to work on Shabbos (and that is what they do)?
BiMechilas Kvodam Shel HaRabonim SHLIT”A:
As the former chairman and CEO and, now, senior advisor to Intel, Andrew Grove, is a Hungarian-born Jew, has any of the Rabonim contacted him privately to convince him to convince the current management of Intel to do what is appropriate for Yerushalayim Ir HaKodesh?
what a silly protest, but at least they have enough sense NOT to protest on Shabbos so not to force the security, police and journalists to be Mechalel Shabbos.
However will the chant be changed from “Shabbos, Shabbos” to “Sunday Sunday”
