The PA (Palestinian Authority) has embarked on the construction of a stadium to accommodate 15,000 seats, located adjacent to Yishuv Psagot in the Benjamin Regional Council district of Shomron. Some residents protested the move on Tuesday, insisting the stadium is being constructed on land that belongs to Israel, not the PA.

The protestors state that the IDF Civil Administration last month issued a stop-work order and a demolition order. Despite this, photos taken at the site of late indicate construction is continuing and the Civil Administration seems to be ignoring it.

According to reports, the stadium is being constructed with European community donor funds.
