Minister of Industry & Trade (Labor) Binyamin Ben-Eliezer, who is visiting in India became the first Israeli minister to visit the Chabad house in Mumbai since the fatal terror attack at that location.

An emotional ceremony was held in the minister’s presence on Wednesday afternoon, including the participation of tens of local members and leaders of the Jewish community. The participants held a memorial for the Kedoshim, Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg, Rebbitzin Rivki Holtzberg, Rabbi Aryeh Leib Teitlebaum, Yocheved Orpaz, Bentzion Korman, and Nechama Swartzblatt Rabinowitz HY”D.

The minister was taken through the Beis Chabad, shown where the horrors occurred, given an explanation of the events – with all present realizing this Chabad house has a special significance today, following the attack.
