A high-level delegation is leaving Israel for Haiti on Monday night, including the commander of the Homefront Command, Major-General Yair Golan and Chief Medical Officer Brigadier-General Dr. Nachman Ash, the director-general of the Ministry of Health, Eitan Chai-Am, and Danny Laor, who heads the ministry�s emergency management desk.

They will be joining the many other IDF officers, soldiers and rescue agencies working in assist the victims of the earthquake.
