President Shimon Peres on Wednesday, marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day, delivered a historical address in Hebrew before the German parliament, the Bundestag.

Mr. Peres� address was simultaneously translated for the parliamentarians. He also recited Kaddish marking the 65th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, remembering the fallen, including his grandparents. The president was accompanied by a number of German-born survivors.
