According to statistics released by Israel�s Central Bureau of Statistics, there were 1,190 vehicular accidents involving injuries throughout Israel in January 2010, not including Yehuda and Shomron. Of that number, 23 of the accidents resulted in a total of 28 fatalities. A total of 2,043 persons were injured, 113 listed in serious or worse condition. These alarming numbers represent a 1% decline compared to January 2009 based on average monthly totals.
