A Look at Israel’s Roads in January 2010


According to statistics released by Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics, there were 1,190 vehicular accidents involving injuries throughout Israel in January 2010, not including Yehuda and Shomron. Of that number, 23 of the accidents resulted in a total of 28 fatalities. A total of 2,043 persons were injured, 113 listed in serious or worse condition. These alarming numbers represent a 1% decline compared to January 2009 based on average monthly totals.
