Doctors at Carmel Hospital explain the reaction to the anti-fungus medication taken by Gabi Atias, 65, is quite rare, but confirm at present, he is fighting for his life.
Atias, formerly a healthy man, a number of weeks ago received pills to eliminate fungus in his toenails. The drug led to a collapse of his kidneys and hepatic function and at present, he remains in isolation on intravenous antibiotics fighting for his life.

What medicine was it, I recently took such a medicine – people should know what to watch out for. Did he have his liver functioning monitored?
