Keeping with the annual minhag on erev shabbos chol hamoed Pesach, thousands of children are expected to make their way to the Kosel on this erev shabbos to recite Shir HaShirim [along with many adults].

The event is expected to get underway at 2:45pm. Egged indicates bus service to the Kosel will be stepped-up beginning at 2:00pm to accommodate the anticipated number of travelers.

The event is being organized by Shir HaShirim, which arranges the recitation of Shir HaShirim in hundreds of shuls around Yerushalayim every erev shabbos. (Yechiel Spira – YWN Israel)
