Bnei Brak Bikur Cholim Calling for Shmura Matzos

The Chasdei Ohel Bikur Cholim operating in Bnei Brak on Sunday morning issued a call for anyone with spare hand shmura matzos to step forward, explaining they were experiencing a critical shortage. The organization provides food for yomtov for five area hospitals and simply ran short of hand matzos.

Anyone wishing information is asked to call 03-578-0344 or bring matzos to the office on Yismach Moshe Street by 2:30pm.

  1. Funny that the appeal is specifically for hand shmura which is round, but the picture depicted is machine square matza

  2. This is a bit over the top. This whole meshugaas about putting out an “emergency appeal” for hand shmurah as if the ehrleche yidden in the hospitals would not eat machine shmurah like 99 percent of us do. For decades the machine shmurah was good enough for gadolei yisreoel but they make it sound like it would be a chillul hasehm to feed it to hospital patients. This is not a matter of life and death.
