Two Arab residents of Akko, Hassan Salah, 32, and Halad Durgam Kurdi, 28, were indicted in the Akko Magistrate’s Court on Thursday on weapons dealing and other charges. The prosecutor in the case pointed out that the two allegedly were dealing in weapons towards using them against Jews. Two other suspects in the case are Arab residents of Haifa.

The state alleges the two were acquiring weapons to use against Jews in the event racial riots erupted in Akko again as was the case on Yom Kippur some 18 months ago.
