Chotovely Seeks to Save Yerushalayim from Talks with PA

MK (Likud) Tzipi Chotovely is proposing a bill that will remove Jerusalem from negotiations between Israel and the PA as both side prepare to launch mediated talks after an 18 hiatus from negotiations.

Chotovely is hoping to have the bill passed into law, a law that would prevent the prime minister or his representatives from signing away portions of Yerushalayim in an agreement with the PA.

The bill also calls for annexing communities around Jerusalem, including Gush Etzion, Givat Ze’ev and Maale Adumim.
