Syrian Leader Pushing to Eliminate Gaza Embargo

As Syria and Turkey announced a new stronger strategic alliance, Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad turned to his guest Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan with an idea, a joint effort to remove the Israeli-imposed embargo on Gaza once and for all. The details of the master Syrian undertaking have not been released to the media.

The London-based al-Quds al-Arabi reports the two have agreed to cooperate, hinting that the plan involves diplomatic actions against Israel, with the involvement of Qatar.

There is no longer any doubt regarding Ankara’s intentions, as Turkish leaders continue moving close to the Axis of Evil nations, strengthening ties with Iran and Syria, while leading the diplomatic front against Israel, calling on the UN and the international community to probe the Gaza flotilla commando operation and level sanctions against Israel.
