The London newspaper Al-Hayat reported today, that the UN is mediating a�deal between Hezbollah and Israel to secure the release of the�two abducted IDF soldiers�taken hostage by the Hezbollah last July. The deal is expected to be secure by this summer.
According to the report, Israel would free a considerable number of Arab prisoners, among them Palestinians, Syrians, and Jordanians, in exchange for missing army reservists Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser.
Meanwhile, another report in a United Arab Emirates newspaper said Wednesday that a prisoner exchange between Israel and Hezbollah, which will include the two Israel Defense Forces soldiers held by the Lebanese-based guerrilla group, will be concluded by the end of the summer.
