Fried Pastrami Salad


Not your typical salad. Definitely a worthwhile dish for chanukah when frying is the name of the game. Can also be served as an appetizer.

Ingredients

Salad
1 tablespoon Canola Oil
1/3 pound Pastrami Sliced
10 ounces Lettuce
8 ounces Mushrooms Sliced
1/2 Red Onion Sliced
1/2 box Cherry Tomatoes
Dressing
3 tablespoons Soy Milk
2 tablespoons White Vinegar
2 Garlic Cloves Minced
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
1 pinch Salt And Pepper

Preparation
Fry the pastrami in oil. In a separate bowl mix the lettuce together with the vegetables. Whisk the dressing ingredients together. Put the pastrami into the salad and pour the dressing over the whole thing. Mix well.

Helpful Hints
Can use baby spinach instead of lettuce. Can substitute rice milk instead of soy milk.
