U.S. THAAD and Israel’s Arrow Systems Fail to Intercept Houthi Missile Targeting Ben Gurion Airport


Ynet reports that both the U.S. Army’s THAAD batteries in Southern Israel and the “Arrow-2/3” Anti-Ballistic Missile System failed to intercepted the long-range ballistic missile launched by Iranian-backed Houthis targeting Ben Gurion airport this morning.

  1. just like the patriot batteries stationed in israel during desert storm, the thaad batteries seem to be overpriced for what they do. and if this engagement reveals flaws in the system, the fix will take years, not weeks. israel needs to rely on its own systems.
