In recent weeks, the Israeli Navy has deployed for the first time unmanned vessels, also known as drone boats, in Israel’s territorial waters, the military reveals.

“The vessels have the capability to construct a broad maritime picture and are engaged in monitoring and characterizing the movement of vessels within the economic waters,” the IDF says.
