Nearly Half of Americans Stressed by Rising Grocery Prices, Poll Finds


Grocery prices are weighing heavily on Americans. A new AP-NORC poll shows nearly half of U.S. adults say the cost of groceries is a major source of stress, and only 14% say it’s not stressing them at all. Rising prices and lingering concerns over tariffs are fueling anxiety — especially among younger adults, many of whom are turning to “buy now, pay later” services just to cover basic needs.
