New York City Council Member Crystal Hudson issued a joint statement Monday with State Senator Zellnor Myrie and Assembly Member Brian Cunningham condemning today’s planned antisemitic gathering in Crown Heights.

Organizers are calling for “justice” for the 1991 accidental death of a Black child struck by a vehicle in the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s motorcade. That incident triggered days of violent unrest in Crown Heights, during which Yankel Rosenbaum, hy”d, was murdered.
