U.S. defense company Leidos has introduced the “Sea Dagger,” a new high-speed boat concept designed for Britain’s Royal Navy. The vessel is part of a U.K. program to add 24 medium-sized boats that can carry commando teams, small vehicles, supplies, and equipment from far offshore directly into action. The Sea Dagger is built for speed, topping 40 knots — about 46 miles per hour on the water.
