It has been cleared for publication that the IDF Southern Command and the Shin Bet arrested Marwan Al-hametz, a Hamas terrorist who took part in determining the death of Lt. Hadar Goldin and is suspected of knowing where he was buried inside the �Dror Lavan� tunnel in Rafah.

Al-hametz was captured in July 2025 during a joint operation by IDF Southern Command and the Shin Bet, with assistance from Military Intelligence. According to the findings, he participated in confirming Goldin�s death and is suspected of having knowledge of the burial site within the Dror Lavan tunnel.
