Officials confirm a Delaware State Trooper was heroically killed in a shooting at a DMV location in Wilmington on Tuesday afternoon. The gunman was also shot and killed during the incident.

Authorities said that after being shot, the trooper pushed a DMV employee out of harm’s way before the suspect fired again.
