Tesla Deliveries Fall Again in 2025 as EV Subsidies Expire

Tesla’s annual vehicle deliveries declined in 2025 for the second consecutive year, as the end of U.S. federal subsidies for electric vehicles weighed on demand. Overall sales fell 9% for the year, while fourth-quarter deliveries were down 16% from a year earlier.

The drop followed a brief surge in third-quarter sales as buyers moved to take advantage of an expiring $7,500 tax credit.
