U.S. SOUTHCOM says U.S. forces have boarded and seized a second sanctioned tanker today — the M/T Sophia — in the Caribbean. The vessel, described as part of the “dark fleet,” was intercepted in international waters and is now being escorted to the United States, according to a SOUTHCOM statement.
