TikTok has agreed to settle a class-action lawsuit alleging the platform contributed to youth addiction.

The lawsuit claimed TikTok intentionally designed features to keep minors engaged, encouraging excessive use; the company did not admit wrongdoing, and the settlement still requires court approval.
