U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) carried out 10 strikes against more than 30 ISIS targets in Syria between Feb. 3 and 12 as part of Operation Hawkeye Strike.
• The strikes targeted ISIS infrastructure and weapons storage sites using precision munitions from fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, and drones.
• The operation was launched after a Dec. 13 ISIS ambush near Palmyra that killed two U.S. service members and an American interpreter.
• Over the past two months, more than 50 ISIS terrorists have been killed or captured, and more than 100 infrastructure targets have been hit.
