WATCH AND ENJOY: “Prince of Jewish Music” Yeedle Unveils “Mi’Ma’amakim” Video Featuring Composer Yitzchak Ben Arza

Following the highly acclaimed release of his album Hu V’lo Acher, Yeedle has unveiled the official music video for “Mi’Ma’amakim,” set to the timeless words of Tehillim (פרק ק״ל).

The song was composed by Yitzchak Ben Arza, who also joins Yeedle in the performance, marking a special collaboration between composer and singer. In the months since the album’s release, Mi’Ma’amakim has quickly become one of its most beloved tracks — heard on stages and at kumzitz gatherings, where many say the blockbuster hit has made it nearly impossible to go anywhere without hearing it.

Reflecting on the song’s growing impact, Yeedle shared:

“These words of Tehillim are instinctively on our lips — Mi’Ma’amakim is often one of the first perakim people know by heart. Especially now, in these uncertain times, Jews everywhere are repeating this perek over and over. ממעמקים — from the depths — has always been the cry of the Jewish heart. To now hear it sung in our melody around the world is incredibly humbling.”

Filmed in the open fields of Eretz Yisrael, the visual tefillah captures a strikingly simple scene — raw hearts beneath the open Israeli sky. Accompanied by a string quartet, the stirring performance centers on ממעמקים קראתיך ד׳.
