Man Arrested for Disrupting Shabbos Davening Near Great Neck Shuls


A man accused of “disrupting religious services” in Great Neck was arrested on Shabbos, authorities said.

According to police, 34-year-old Bilal Kayani, an Elmont resident, was driving a black Jeep near Shuls in the Middle Neck Road area while yelling out of his window, disturbing Davening that was taking place.

The incidents occurred near Congregation Shaare Zion, located at a key intersection, and directly across from Young Israel of Great Neck.

Police later identified Kayani and took him into custody without incident.
