Majid Khademi, the intelligence chief of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, was killed in a pre-dawn Israeli airstrike in Tehran on Monday.

Iranian state media confirmed Khademi’s death. Considered among the IRGC’s top three leaders, he had only recently assumed the role after his predecessor was killed in a prior strike.
