Kata’ib Hezbollah says it will release American journalist Shelley Kittleson, with a senior security official, Haj Abu Mujahed Al-Asaf, saying the decision was made in appreciation of what he described as the outgoing prime minister’s “patriotic stances,” on the condition she immediately leave the country. He added the move is a one-time measure that will not be repeated, stressing the group remains in a state of war.
