note to sen. jeffries and other innumerates: $1 billion sounds like a lot of money, but itโs $2.50 per american. in other words, not enough for a coffee at starbucks. iranโs role in the middle east conflict has cost america, and the rest of the developed world, much more than that, and if they successfully acquire nukes, thatโs just the beginning of a lot more hurt.
andโฆ the recent court decision to overturn president trumpโs tariffs will cost the treasury over $160 billion. why are sen. jeffries and the democrats willing to throw away that money, rather than spending it to make americansโ lives more affordable?
