note to sen. jeffries and other innumerates: $1 billion sounds like a lot of money, but it’s $2.50 per american. in other words, not enough for a coffee at starbucks. iran’s role in the middle east conflict has cost america, and the rest of the developed world, much more than that, and if they successfully acquire nukes, that’s just the beginning of a lot more hurt.
and… the recent court decision to overturn president trump’s tariffs will cost the treasury over $160 billion. why are sen. jeffries and the democrats willing to throw away that money, rather than spending it to make americans’ lives more affordable?
