Trump Says U.S.–Iran Breakthrough Possible As Talks Advance, Sources Say Mediation Constructive


President Trump said in an interview with the New York Post that positive developments regarding a second round of U.S.–Iran talks could emerge as early as Friday. When asked if a breakthrough was possible, he replied, “It’s possible.”

Meanwhile, sources in Islamabad described ongoing mediation efforts with Tehran as constructive, with talks potentially restarting within the next 36 to 72 hours while Iran works to consolidate a more unified negotiating position.
