REPORT: Hezbollah Preparing Emergency Plan Amid Financial Strain and Israeli Pressure


HEZBOLLAH SAID TO BE PREPARING EMERGENCY PLAN TO TAKE OVER BEIRUT

•⁠ ⁠Hezbollah has prepared a plan to seize control of Beirut and sideline Lebanese factions supporting closer ties with the West and normalization with Israel, according to a report in Walla.

•⁠ ⁠Israeli security officials say growing pressure is mounting on Hezbollah leader Sheikh Naim Qassem, who believes Israel is moving toward taking control of large areas in Lebanon.

•⁠ ⁠According to the report, Hezbollah has been forced to divide its forces between Beirut, southern Lebanon, and the Bekaa Valley as IDF operations intensify.

•⁠ ⁠Security sources also say Hezbollah is facing a severe financial crisis after Iran sharply reduced funding, while Israeli strikes targeted Hezbollah-linked banks, gas stations, money changers, and other financial assets.
