At least 23 people were killed and more than 70 wounded after a suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle near a railway track in Quetta, Pakistan, as a passenger train was passing through the area.

The blast overturned and set two train cars on fire, while nearby buildings and vehicles were heavily damaged. Pakistani officials said around 20 of the wounded are in critical condition.
