Prime Minister Netanyahu released a statement saying Israel successfully thwarted Iran’s nuclear threat and remains committed to preventing Tehran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Netanyahu added that Israeli forces are continuing to dismantle Hezbollah, accused Iran and Hezbollah of trying to impose a new reality on Israel over the past 24 hours, and stressed that while the current fighting has been contained, Israel will respond with force to any renewed Iranian attacks.
