CENTCOM confirms that U.S. forces have completed strikes against Iranian targets in response to yesterday’s downing of a U.S. Army Apache helicopter.

According to CENTCOM, U.S. Air Force and Navy fighter jets struck Iranian air defense systems, ground control stations, and surveillance radar sites near the Strait of Hormuz. The military described the operation as a proportional response to recent attacks on U.S. forces and international commercial shipping in the region.
