The Rockland County Department of Public Transportation released transit schedule changes for Friday, May 24 and Monday, May 27 of the Memorial Day weekend.

For the early getaway on Friday some transit services are adding early departures or more buses and trains.

• TAPPAN ZEExpress (TZx) bus service will provide additional buses on regularly scheduled afternoon departures from Tarrytown for the expected early rush hour.

• Transport of Rockland (TOR) and TRIPS paratransit buses will operate normal weekday service. • Coach USA’s Rockland Coaches (Red & Tan Lines) express bus routes from Manhattan to Rockland will operate early getaway buses. Route #45 will begin service at 1:50 p.m., Route #47 will begin at 2:30 p.m. and Route #49 will begin at 2:15 p.m.
• Coach USA Express (Shortline) bus service from the Exit 14 Park & Ride lot will operate regular morning and evening service with the addition of early buses at 2 p.m. from 56th Street & 5th Ave. and 2:30 p.m. from Wall Street.
• Metro-North’s Port Jervis Line will add trains departing Penn Station at 2:33 p.m. and Hoboken at 2:45 p.m.
• New Jersey Transit trains will operate normal Friday schedules.

Mass transit service will be limited on Monday, Memorial Day.

• Rockland County TZx and TOR buses will operate on a Saturday schedule except for TOR Loop #1 and Loop #2, which will run on normal weekday schedules.
• TRIPS Paratransit buses will operate A.D.A. service only.
• Coach USA’s Rockland Coaches (Red & Tan Lines) local bus routes #9, 9W, 11-A, 11-C and 20 will operate on a Sunday schedule. Commuter express routes will not be available.
• Coach USA’s Shortline buses and Monsey Trails buses will run on a holiday schedule.
• Clarkstown Mini Trans, Spring Valley Jitney and Coach USA Express (Shortline) buses will not run from the Exit 14 Park & Ride.
• The Haverstraw-Ossining Ferry will not operate.
• Metro-North’s Hudson Line and Port Jervis Line trains will operate on Sunday schedules.
• NJ Transit trains will follow weekend schedules on the Main/Bergen Line and Pascack Valley Line.
