NY Aquarium Ready For Business Following Sandy

aquThe newly renovated NY Aquarium is set to reopen after being damaged in superstorm Sandy.

Sandy caused nearly $65 million in damage to the year-round venue. The building was flooded and power was knocked out. Aquarium officials say the staff has work around the clock to stabilize and restore the life support system of the aquarium.

Despite all the effort, three exhibit buildings are still closed. For now, residents will enjoy a reduced price.
