The campaign of John Catsimatidis, the successful businessman and independent Republican candidate for mayor, today released a television commercial that is the first candidate ad of the 2013 New York City Mayor’s race.

————————–
John Catsimatidis: A Mayor for Every New Yorker (television – 60 seconds)

Announcer: John Catsimatidis grew up on 135th Street in Harlem, the son of immigrants.
His dad was a busboy.

While working his way through college…John Catsimatidis helped save a small neighborhood store…then built one of America’s most successful private businesses…creating tens of thousands of jobs.

But John Catsimatidis never forgot…where he came from…
…raising millions for education…
…neighborhood safety…
…and the human fight against disease.

Today, John Catsimatidis is…running for Mayor, because he believes every New Yorker deserves the opportunities he had.

His plan?
Create jobs for every borough…put more police on the street… stop high fares and tolls punishing commuters… and be able to tell every kid…they can dream big.
In a city that works hard……and dares to be great.
John Catsimatidis.
A Mayor…for every New Yorker
