UTJ MK Gafni Warns: Missiles Will Fall On Tel Aviv, If IDF Draft Bill Becomes Law

gafniKnesset Member Moshe Gafni (UTJ) warned the government, in a speech at a weekly non-confidence motion, that missiles will fall on Tel Aviv if The Knesset passes the IDF draft bill. The bill, once signed into law, requires Yeshiva students to join the army at the age of 21 and sanction those who refuse to join military or civil service.

“I want to tell you, I am a believer. We are playing with fire,” said MK Gafni, according to a video published by Kikar Shabbat. “Since the government started to hurt those who study the Torah, Syria became close, missiles began to be directed to Tel Aviv.”

MK Gafni elaborated that if you harm the Yeshivas not only will missiles fall on Tel Aviv but also Israel’s credit rating will plummet.
