I’m writing on behalf of a dear friend, a devoted husband and father of two young children, who is going through one of the hardest times imaginable. His wife — a kind, vibrant woman full of love and strength — was recently diagnosed with cancer and is currently undergoing months of intensive treatment.
As you can imagine, this has turned their world upside down. Neither of them is currently able to work. His wife had just started building a beautiful home bakery business — it was taking off and bringing hope — but now, chemotherapy has made it impossible for her to continue.
To make matters even harder, my friend himself was born with a rare and debilitating health condition that affects him every single day. It’s a condition so uncommon that it’s not yet recognized by Bituach Leumi, despite doctors agreeing it’s too dangerous to treat now. As a result, he cannot work or provide for his family in any way, no matter how much he wishes he could.
This family is fighting on all fronts — physically, emotionally, and financially. The limited assistance they receive doesn’t cover the basic bills, let alone the extra expenses that come with serious illness and raising two small children.
They never expected to be in this position, but now they need help — from all of us.
If you can give anything, no matter how small, it will make a world of difference. Your kindness will go directly to helping them cover rent, utilities, groceries, and daily living costs — so they can focus on healing, caring for their children, and making it through this incredibly difficult season with some dignity and peace.
Please open your heart and donate. And if you can’t give, you can still help by sharing this campaign with others.
Thank you. May you all be blessed with Parnassah and health. Please daven for a refuah Shelaima for Sarah chana bas anat.
