ENTV: A group of prominent Boston Christian and Jewish leaders is working to settle a bitter dispute over a new mosque in Boston.Work on the massive mosque has stopped amid allegations that Islamic extremists are behind its construction.The mosque’s developers — The Islamic Society of Boston — deny any terrorists sympathies. They’ve sued several individuals — including Jewish leaders — and the Boston Herald for defamation. The dispute has severely strained relations between area Jews and Muslims.?

A 40-member panel of ministers, priests, rabbis and laymen has spoken to both sides. The Boston Globe reports that religious leaders fear acrimony over the case will linger long after any court battle.
