A rally for Israel will be held Thursday (Tisha B’av) in Lakewood Town Square. The gathering is intended to show support for Israel and to stand up against terrorism, said Rabbi Jan Rosenberg of Beth Zion Messianic Synagogue. The event is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and is sponsored by Beth Zion and Lakewood Community Outreach. It is open to the public. Town Square is on Clifton Avenue between Third and Fourth streets.
