Israeli Police have said that since Sunday morning over 200 rockets have been fired at northern Israel. In the last hour rockets have been fired at Haifa, Krayot, the western Galilee and Haemekim.? An 83 year-old man was killed Sunday when a rocket fired from Lebanon directly hit his home in a community located near the northern town of Shlomi; two other people sustained moderate and light wounds by additional rockets that landed there. During the afternoon hours rockets landed in open fields in Haifa, Kiryat Shmona, Shlomi and Safed; no injuries were reported.

A short while later two people suffered moderate and light injuries in another rocket attack in the area.

Two people were seriously wounded during a rocket attack on the Krayot area; sirens were also heard in Binyamina and Zichron Yaacov, south of Hiafa.
